Indianapolis Church Renovation
Minaki Architecture worked with an Indianapolis church to design accessible bathrooms on the lower level, improving mobility and code compliance for congregants and visitors. The layout was carefully coordinated to fit within existing constraints while meeting ADA requirements and supporting long-term functionality. These upgrades help ensure the church remains usable and welcoming for a broader range of attendees during services and events.
In addition to the built scope, we provided documentation and design guidance to support the church’s grant applications for future accessibility upgrades. This included outlining potential improvements, aligning them with funding criteria, and helping the church plan next steps toward broader building access. Our involvement helped clarify priorities for phased improvements over time.
